We want your stay to be the most comfortable and memorable it can be. We've used the finest materials throughout, from the hand painted tiles and Italian lighting to the solid Iroko cabinets. There is a full set of crockery, and all towels and linens are provided.
The focal point has to be the oil fired Heritage Range nestled in the solid wood, granite topped galley. It's very easy to use and has two hotplates and two ovens. (The range operates independently from the heating systems.) Just flick a switch to turn it on.
You wont run out of hot water!
There is a fold down teak table, folding captain chair, and a built in fridge unit.
There is a flat panel TV with surround sound DVD, radio and CD player. Channels are from Freeview.
Theres a good collection of (recent release or classic) DVDs and CDs for you to enjoy, and traditional board games, plus plenty of books including the complete set of the Swallows and Amazon's adventures from Arthur Ransome.
Moving forward, the first cabin is the twin bedded room with a central cabinet with storage and concealing the PlayStation2 (Just in case the weather is grim!)
The two bunks are full length, so adults can fit too, and have memory foam matresses.
The window is opening, and there is a flat panel TV with Freeview and a dvd player. The room has a radiator to keep things toasty and individual reading lights.
The bathroom has a full height AquaLisa shower unit and a full sized 'proper' loo. The vanity basin has a large, heated mirror above - just wave at it to turn it on! All the tiles are hand painted by the Norton Tile Company, reflecting East Anglian birds.
The loo and all pumps are electric, with simple easy to use switches, and there is a guage to let us know when tanks need emptying. (We do that)
There is a radiator with towel rail.
The double cabin has a full sized memory foam bed with Iroko bedside, fitted half height wardrobe and a dressing table. There is a further wall mounted TV/DVD player.
There are decorative Weems and Plath oil lamps, opening chromed solid brass portholes and a reading light.
